Day 1 ( again)

So I sat and wrote day 1 last night in my bed and posted it, I did notice my phone app crashed, but i lived in hope it had posted, but as I sit here this morning ready to write a piece I see it has not posted or  saved it. So my words of wisdom from yesterday are gone- shame really!!

Day 1 went well, i mastered the different containers and only had a few hic-ups. the main one was a silly one. i could not get my new blender to work. looking back it was quiet funny. As i tried and retried, read the instruction booklet, got side tracked by recipes, they ahve one for pina colada!!, and tried again, it turns out I am too gentle. I had to just push down harder and the blender sprung into life and mixed my shake up.

I tried the natrual and french vanilla yesterday, not much difference for me, Today I will not put ice in as I want to see if that does not make it so thick. i am not someone who drinks thick drinks, shakes, creamy drinks ( except brandy Alexander :-) ) so i do not enjoy drinking down the texture when it is so thick, that is a question i will post to the team FB page today, as I have found that to be a helpful place to get advice.

I knew i would  get a headache from stopping coffee, and it started about 1pm, and just got worse, my boys were brilliant though, and helped me through the evening.

Dinner was dry freid chicken with lots of vegtables, I had brown rice, and they had some potatoes, were usuing some left overs from a raost dinner the day before, but I could not finish that meal, so over all I feel it was a sucessful day.

I did not have my morning snack, but did have a leanbar in the afternoon, more for flavour in my mouth, finding water is not as tasty as my coffee. Today at snack time I am going to have one of the orange drinks I am allowed, as i think that will curb my drink fettish!!.

Don't get me wrong I love water, and drink lots of it, but ususal drink sparkling, and add lemon or lime ( which is why I have now started my own citrus grove) , fresh water, which my fridge kindly dispenses to me chilled is lovly, but variet is needed- so that is my challenge more than anything at the moment. I suppose the heat here, does not help that.
